
Important Parent Information
- Parent Volunteers - We must have all families volunteer! We expect each family to help during games and when our team runs the concession stand. Volunteer positins will
be assigned and if changes are needed pelase arrange with another family to switch.
- Spotters - We must have two (2) parents volunteer for every game to serve as a spotter. This is mandatory in this league. Please see team Mom if you can fill this vital
position for the coaching staff. If you serve as a spotte at every game you will be exempted from other obligations.
Practice & Game Expectations
- Players MUST have a valid Photo ID card to play. Coaches will keep the ID for the season and return it with your check when equipment is returned at the last game.
- Players must make weight every game to play.
- Practice and Games are important to attend. Please notify coaches of any conflicts.
- Game Days - Players are expected to be at the game field 1-1/2 hours before game start time fully dressed: full uniform, pads & cup. All players are weighed in and
rosters checked before every game.
- Rain Policy - We practice, play games and scrimmages in the rain. If there is lightening/thunder, practices/games/scrimmages may be delayed or cancelled. Make sure to
pay attention to weather. If a storm develops during practice, please return as soon as possible to pick up your child(ren).
Equipment
- All players need to provide the following: athletic cup, cleats, girdle and practice pants.
- Spirit Packs are available through St Francis for a fee. See coaches or team Mom.
- St Francis provides (with a $100.00 equipment deposit): helmet, shoulder pads, hip, butt & knee pads. The deposit will be returned at the end of the season, once all
equipment is turned in.
- Game pants, practice and game jerseys MUST BE RETURNED AT THE END OF THE SEASON.
Conditioning
- If your child(ren) has a medical condition like asthma, please notify your child's coach as soon as possible and leave any emergency medications (inhaler) with coaches,
team Mom or player.
- Weather - Be prepared for HOT weather in August and September, and COLD weather near the end of the season.
- Hydration - Players should drink plenty of fluids (water) before practice and water bottles should be brought to field.
